James Hargest is now the proud caretaker of a TC1 Seismometer. We are the only school in Southland, and one of only 6 South Island sites, as part of a national network of schools and museums to have these instruments.

The inaugural Year 7 and 8 Southland Badminton Championships were held towards the end of term two. Nineteen students represented James Hargest College and it’s fair to say that James Hargest College dominated the event.
Treasury Challenge Success
