Year 13 Geography Field Trip

Year 13 Geography Field Trip

Our first trip of the year saw us enjoy two beautiful days of weather in Fiordland. The students are studying the merits of the proposed road through the Hollyford Valley so we climbed Key Summit to get an overview of the area and then stayed the night at Gunn’s Camp in the Hollyford. This is a “must-do” experience for all New Zealanders. The following day we ventured to Milford Sound and did the cruise with Jucy Cruises. They give us a wonderful deal each year. Fiordland was just packed with tourists and the various carparks were overflowing with vehicles.

Thanks again to Waine Harding for another great trip – one day we will beat him in the Spot the Tractor Game.
