Girl's Rugby
The future of Girls Rugby at James Hargest College is looking very bright indeed. The Year 7 and 8 Girls also competed in the Southland Wide competition recently. Both teams recording wins, with the Lions going undefeated in pool rounds, with a significant 45-0 win over the Year 8 SGHS team, before a narrow loss in the final to the same team. Hargest players dominated the prizegiving with Madison Grieve being named MVP for the tournament and Taylor Evans being given the try of the tournament. A big thank you to Lisa Tou and the parents who helped on the day. Thanks to ABL Building for sponsoring the girls for the tournament.
