Southland Junior Schools’ Championships
Congratulations to our twelve swimmers who competed so well in the Southland Schools’ Swimming Championships at the end of Term one.
A championship sash was presented to first, second and third place getters and finalist ribbons for fourth to eighth placings. Congratulations to the following students who were placed in the top three.
Regan Cross 11 year boys - 1st in breaststroke, 3rd in freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, medley relay and freestyle relay.
Amy Ingham 11 year girls – 3rd in backstroke and medley relay.
Teegan Strudwicke 11 year girls – 1st in butterfly, 3rd in freestyle, breaststroke relay medley and freestyle medley.
Clara Voogt - 3rd freestyle and relay medleys.
Hamish Dudley - 3rd freestyle medley.
The team was placed third overall out of forty two teams and earned the most points of all the primary schools.
