World Vision 40 Hour Famine

Over 80 Hargest students participated in the World Vision 40 Hour Famine. 34 students were involved in the school’s Sweat Shop famine event. These students made over one hundred pencil cases or monsters over the weekend, most of which have been sold. A big thank you to the Warehouse and Invercargill City Library for permission to sell these Sweat Shop products outside their premises over the famine weekend.

Hargest Students have collectively raised over $5000 towards the Bangladesh famine relief fund this year.

This is a massive effort for the students. We whole heartedly say a huge thank you to whanau and friends of these students for your support and encouragement of their involvement in this cause.
