On Tuesday 9 March we celebrated outstanding student achievement from 2020. It was a wonderful occasion where we were once again in awe of the impressive array of student achievement. We celebrated superb academic achievements from 2020 including Subject Excellence Endorsements as well as overall Year Level NCEA Certificates endorsed with Excellence. These achievements are even more remarkable given the challenges of 2020 and the time spent out of the classroom. Special mention must go to the following students who achieved Excellence endorsements in all six of their subjects, as well as overall Excellence endorsement, a truly outstanding achievement. Level One 2020 – Halle Faherty, Brianna Loan and Alice McIntosh. Level Two 2020 Finn Cruickshank.
We also celebrated a wide range of Sporting and Cultural Achievements from 2020. Our superb Kapa Haka group performed at the ceremony to acknowledge the magnificent achievements of their peers. Sporting and Cultural Blues were achieved in a range of areas. Special note must be made of Brianna Loan and Quinn Hartley who achieved National recognition in Brass Band and Athletics respectively.
