Year 8 council members along with our kaiarataki and ambassadors headed to Gore to attend the GRIP Leadership Conference. This was a fantastic, interactive day which provided us with great opportunities to mingle with students from other Southland schools. The conference focused on steps – stepping forward with new ideas, stepping up, stepping in and stepping out as leaders. It provided realistic ways that we can do this within our school environment. We are excited to get together as a group and put our learning into practice!
