If you are paying by cash could you please put it in an envelope with your child’s name, the sports and their student reference number.

REFERENCE  – Student ID and Cricket

Registration Fees-   $ 40 per individual (this covers association fees and equipment).

 ( Please note students cannot be placed in a team until payment has been made. This includes online payment.  If this is not possible please contact the Office Manager at execjunior@jameshargest.school.nz to arrange a payment plan.)

Mr Folster will meet with students interested in playing cricket in early February (please listen out to the morning notices for when this meeting will take place)

TRIAL / PLAYERS GET TOGETHER

Time: 3.30 – 5pm

Venue: Cricket Nets

             James Hargest Senior Campus

 VENUE FOR GAMES: This changes week to week depending on the draw.

The competition takes place in term 1 and term 4.

The competition will run for six weeks during term 1 and term 4 on a Saturday with the first round being held on the 22 February (this is still TBC due a short turnaround for registrations from schools).

Games are played at different venues depending on the draw. Students are to wear their James Hargest PE Tops and cricket pants if they have them otherwise they will need to wear the black PE shorts.

• The draw will be available on the Sports Google Classroom

• Trials will be held at James Hargest Senior Campus. (This date is still to be confirmed.  The trial will depend on numbers whether it will be a trial or a get together for players. 

• It is important that teams have a manager/ coach so if you are available to help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

To enter a team in this competition players must be available to play on all days.  Students will need to trial for the cricket team. Cricket depends on numbers and if we have too many for one team and not enough for another your child may miss out (if your child is not selected to play in a team then they are still able to go to practice and develop and learn skills to play the game, at no cost to you. By not being selected you can still learn to play just not on competition day).

After the trial, and your child has been selected in a team/teams then you will be required to make a payment for the registration of the team on the week of Wednesday 12 February.
