 Junior High Basketball Spring League

(Competition will run for 6 weeks – concludes Friday 20 October, 2023

Games are played on Friday night and times vary between 4.00pm and 7.00pm and the duration of play is 40 minutes.

Each team will be asked to do duty for the game in which they play.

For this, we ask a parent or caregiver to support us by either marking the scoresheet or controlling the clock.

Students are to wear their James Hargest College PE uniform.

Mouth guards are compulsory for all players.

Teams will be announced once trials are over and we have final confirmation of numbers.

We will endeavor to place all students in teams. We do require a parent to help out with each team in the role of coach.  A coaching meeting will be set before the league begins to go over the basic rules and tips for the players.  If we do not have enough help from parents/ senior students to coach we may not be able to register your son or daughter in a team.

The draw will be placed on the sports office noticeboard and Google Classroom each week. It will be on the Southland basketball website.
