Earlier this term, four of our senior students took part in the International Chemistry Quiz (ICQ), a prestigious competition run annually across many countries. The ICQ challenges students with a wide range of chemistry problems that test not only their knowledge but also their ability to apply scientific thinking to real-world contexts.
We are proud to share the achievements of our students:
Natalie Snoek (Year 12) – High Distinction (Top 1–2% in New Zealand)
Annie Tran (Year 12) – Distinction
Olivia Scarlett (Year 12) – Credit
Hailey Macpherson (Year 13) – Credit
These results are an excellent reflection of their hard work, curiosity, and enthusiasm for science. Special congratulations go to Natalie Snoek for achieving a High Distinction, placing her among the very best in New Zealand. A big congratulations to all four students for their outstanding effort and success. We are very proud of the way they represented our school on the international stage and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in their science journeys.
