Well done to the JHJC Y8 Girls and Boys volleyball teams who played some fantastic games at the Volley South Junior Champs in the Y9/10 section.
The girls won some games, had some close losses, and should be proud of how they played, supported each other and kept their enthusiasm – even after eight hours!
The boys had a great time. Coming up against players two years older was always going to be a challenge, but the boys held their own, pinching a set against NSC and pushing the other teams hard. They learnt heaps and their game developed immensely throughout the day.
Thank you also to all of the families who came along to support them. Thanks to the Godsall-Folsters for support with duty at the end of the day.
