Bags of Hope

Over Term 3 for Sport & Rec, a group of budding artists took on the challenge of creating designs for the Southland Cancer Society ‘Bags of Hope’ Community Project. Images created had to have a Southland vibe incorporated with positive words of encouragement. Gavin Booth, the project co-ordinator came and spoke to the group about what was required. The Cancer Society donated a box of chocolates from the Seriously Good Chocolate Company to be awarded to the top design. It was hard work selecting only one, so the Junior Campus staff were called upon to vote out of 4 final works. Pictured is Olivia Moore who took out the chocolate prize. Tu meke Olivia.
We are looking forward to possibly running another two weeks of ‘Bags of Hope’ towards the end of the year.
