| Performance details | Big Sing Regional Contest in mid-June (Term 2),
The Big Sing (TBS) is a highly successful, national group-singing competition for secondary school students.Members of Ancora enjoy singing at this event, along with several other secondary school choirs. Ancora also sings at The Sing Thing, a community mass singing event in the ILT Stadium in June each year and goes out into the community to sing at rest homes in a music Outreach capacity. |
| Cost | $20 choir subs cost (note that this is only paid once per choir, so if you are in two choirs you still only pay $20). No further costs unless selected for Cadenza, the Big Sing South Island Regional Finals. Costs vary for Cadenza depending on the location of the contest. |
| Other requirements i.e equipment | Rehearsals are every Tuesday after school 3.30 pm – 4:45 pm. |
